My contribution for the day

Hey guys,

Hope this page becomes a space for all of us to share ideas.

I would like to share with you this page I found last year: http://www.esl-galaxy.com/

You can find worksheets to print, ideas for activities, power point presentations for different topics, etc.

Take a look at it, you won't regret it.

  1. Hey guys,

I think most of you might already be aware of this site but thought I'd make a little contribution anyway. Great listening site:

Will drop more ideas as I think of them.

  2. Hi Shamir,
I do know the site you are talking about. Maybe you can tell us a little about specific activities you have tried using that site.

    Take care

  3. Hi Willy,

It's been a while since I last used it because of computer availability at the Colombo. However, I remember something about a guy's travel story and then listening and vocabulary exercises based on what he said.

  4. Hey guys,

Somebody told me of a couple of new sites which are pretty cool.
    http://www.curso-ingles.com
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/radio/specials/1720_uptodate4/index.shtml

The first is a spanish website intended for english learners which doesn't quite fit in with the Colombo's idea of english use only but there are some activities which can be chosen carefully where the spanish input is limited. The tests section is pretty cool.

The second one deals with english street language that one would hardly see in a book. Great stuff.

    Enjoy
